DESCRIPTION:Centering prayer is a time to ‘be still and know God\,' to op
 en our hearts and minds to our Creator's presence and action in us\, and t
 o gently rest in the Divine.\nWe open by ringing a prayer bell\, followed 
 by singing a simple refrain\, or chant. We then hear a short wisdom readin
 g\, and sit in quiet stillness for about twenty minutes. We end by singing
