Garden Volunteers Needed

Are you a gardener or wannabe gardener? Maybe you'd like to pretend to be one for the afternoon? Maybe you just live nearby and care about the neighbourhood?

We are looking for one or two people who could volunteer a couple of hours to clear the blackberries out of the front garden. Once the blackberries are gone, we can reclaim lots of space for herbs and veggies. 

We also need to clean up the winter debris in the "secret garden." 

In addition to a few hours of gardening and cleaning, we are looking for someone to coordinate the community garden plots in the "secret garden." This would be an ongoing committment. We need someone to check that all the plots are assigned and being cultivated, help identify issues or improvements, and generally keep an eye on things. This is a new role, so duties will become clear over the year.
