At Easter we celebrate Jesus' resurrection--of course--but a lot happens before that. Check out our Holy Week services to experience the story central to our faith: a meal shared in love, a cross borne in suffering , and a tomb opened in hope.
Maundy Thursday begins with a simple supper of soup and bread, moving into foot washing and holy communion as we remember Jesus kneeling to wash feet and give himself in bread and wine. Thursday, April 2, 6:00 pm dinner, 7:00 pm worship.
On Good Friday, we face the reality of the cross. We experience again Jesus' refusal to abandon love, even when it leads him into death. Friday, April 3, 10:30 am.
At the Easter Vigil, we experience it all--fire, stories of God's ongoing saving work, baptism, and holy communion. Saturday, April 4, 8:00 pm.
Easter Sunday is not separate from this journey, but its overflowing gift as we gather in daylight to proclaim the resurrection with joy. This year we get to participate in our friend Hillary's baptism! Sunday, April 5, 10:30 am.
